Tweetbot hits 2.0, finally lets iPad have some fun
Tweetbot has been the cream of the crop when it has come to power user Twitter clients. Today Tapbots released version 2.0 of their app which among other things finally adds support for the iPad! The iPhone version also version 2.0 as well. This is not a universal application as the developer feels the following:
People complain that it isn’t $.99 or free. But we never said we’d make Tweetbot universal. If you look at the other paid universal Twitter clients they are for the most part $5 and I think we have more features than those, so we’re comfortable with the pricing and having separate apps.
Tweetbot for iPhone adds the following:
- updated timeline
- direct message
- reply views
- other smaller changes
