Its finally time for Samsung to shine in 2012. HTC had revealed their line up for 2012 as they tried to hone in on a slimmed down portfolio. Mobile World Congress came and went without a peep from Samsung in regards to the follow up to the Samsung Galaxy S II. Samsung had went on record saying that they would not be announcing a follow up at MWC and would instead have their own event closer to availability.
Samsung is sending out press invites and TheNextWeb managed to get their hands on one. The invite simply says, “Come and meet the next Galaxy.” Many rumors have floated around about the alleged specs of this phone would be. From reumors of Quad-core Exynos processors to 4.8 inch screens to ceramic casing, no one has been able to peg the hardware at all. The only thing fairly known is that it will run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and will have a new version of Touchwiz, presumably Touchwiz 5.0.
Samsung has had a hit on their the hands with the Galaxy Series so hopefully the next Galaxy or Galaxy S III will be able to live up to all the hype!
