Samsung Galaxy S 4G Unboxing
Today we got a 4G package from our friends over at Samsung with the new Samsung Galaxy S 4G! Make sure to check out the unboxing video above or on our home page!
First Impressions
To start off, I love the packaging this thing came in. Very presentable, not so much about materials, but what is on the material. It’s not Apple packaging, but its not crap.
The phone is super light weight. When I picked it up, I thought the battery was not in it! But this thing is feather weight! This is more of an upgrade to the Vibrant, but not in hardware, only exception is the front-facing camera on the device and the HSPA+ 4G chip inside. Other than that, all remains the same. The device still packs the 1GHZ Hummingbird Processor. Super quick phone and the 4G service is also pretty solid where I live.
The other big difference is the software. It comes pre-loaded with Android 2.2, Froyo. Samsung has started to roll out their Froyo update to the other Galaxy S devices. But it’s good that Samsung is starting to move towards the newer software, but it’s not Gingerbread.
So far this phone has been great. Not sure if I would buy one if I owned the Vibrant, but if your looking for an upgrade, this is one you should look at! We will have the full review here shortly, but enjoy the unboxing video and the photos below!
