Samsung Galaxy Note First Impressions

Hey! We got our hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note… Again! This time we actually have a model to test out for a few weeks! The Samsung Galaxy Note, is it a phone or tablet? Is it a phablet? We really can’t answer the question but we can sure tell you if you should buy it or not!

Out of the box

Well, if you click over on the gallery below, you can see the box. It really does a poor job on demonstrating how large this phone is, but it eco-friendly so I can’t complain on the size of the box. Samsung really cut down on the things they used to provide, you just get your device and the charger, nothing else. I like the simplicity.

My first boot up of the device was pretty simple, it greeted me with AT&T’s advertising of 4G LTE which I don’t have in the city of Nashville, it sort of taunted me to move else where really. Then the lock screen appeared, and that’s where it really it me. THIS THING IS HUGE! But it also appeared that I was looking at a gorgeous display as well.

So far…..

I’ve had the Galaxy Note for a few hours and I dig the thing. It’s a tad to big and I can feel it in some of my tighter pants, but I can’t imagine this thing in skinny jeans for the ones that wear them. I just wouldn’t sit down. Now for the S Pen, I really can’t say much but I really haven’t used since I made this video above. I’m just not used to having a stylus.. I mean S Pen, sorry Samsung.
