Nokia PureView prototype found running Windows Phone

You can always count on China for some juicy leaks. Pictures have just come out of China showcasing what would be a Nokia 808 PureView running Windows Phone 7. As a recap, the Nokia 808 Pureview was a phone shown off at MWC 2012, not running Windows Phone, but instead Symbian and sports a very impressive 41 MP camera. Nokia has been on record saying that they plan on bringing this technology to future Lumia devices so for all the Windows Phone fans out there, this is pretty exciting.

According to the same pictures, the purported device would feature a 4.3 inch touchscreen with HD Display, 41 MP sensor with Carl Seiss optics and PureView imaging technology, 1080p full HD video recording and Rich Recording Technology, a dual core processor with Adreno 320 GPU and Windows Phone Operating System (safe to assume Windows Phone Apollo).

Nokia has also gone on record saying that because of Windows Phones current limitations, there is only so much they can do. Windows Phone Apollo has been confirmed to support more hardware choices like multi-core processors and SD Card support which Nokia has said will help them to achieve more differentiation. The design of these phones is pretty unique and if such phones ever do come to materialize, could you see yourself with one?
