Jelly Bean 4.1 announced, available mid-July

Google I/O kicked off this morning, and actually the Keynote is still going on, but Google announced the next version of Android, called Project Butter but officially called Jelly Bean. There are some pretty cool features, one of the biggest and most notable one is the system now runs at 60 frames per second. With triple rendering and de-sync which basically makes the system run smoother. Animations are smoother and quicker. The CPU immediately ramps up the moment a touch is detected to ensure speedy response.
