Adobe Flash road map is revealed, shows that you can teach an old dog new tricks

Even though Adobe pulled the plug on developing future versions of flash for mobile, a recently released road map for Adobe shows that they arent done yet. Adobe plans to release 11.2 soon enough, which will add improved GPU acceleration, multi-threaded video decoding and support for left and right mouse clicks.

Next major platform updates by code names Dolores and Cyril will add more support for a wide array of hardware accelerated video cards, more performance tweaks, supporting keyboard in full screen mode.

Also in 2013 will come the next generation of flash, called Flash Next. A completely rewritten flash which bring major updates to the runtime core and Actionscript which will make writing for the platform easier than ever before?
