Hello everyone. Thank you for reading this new post. Many of you reading this article probably know about the latest Apple rumors and what they’ve done in the recent past. With the release of the iPad, many rumors have started up. That is what I will be writing to you about today. So let’s dive in.
Mac Pro:
The Mac Pro has not been updated in the at least a year. Many of you are expecting an 8-core Mac Pro or a processor update. I’d expect either 1 or even 2 Intel i7 chips put into the Mac Pro. We could also Apple release the 8-core Mac Pro. I believe this update will come silently. What I mean by this is, Apple will not schedule a press event to announce this update. Now exactly when this update could come, no one knows. I believe it could come as early as next Tuesday or as late as June or July 2010.
MacBooks and MacBook Pros:
Many of you were probably disappointed about the processors not being updated on the MacBooks and MacBook Pros the last Apple Keynote. I believe the processors will be updated very soon. The MacBook Pros will most likely receive the Intel i5 and i7 chips. I believe the 13 and 15 inch MacBook Pros will receive the i5 upgrade and the 17 inch MacBook Pros will receive and upgrade to the i7 chips. Like I said about the Mac Pros, the updates could come as early as Tuesday or as late as June or July.
iMacs: I believe it is safe for the consumers to go out and buy an iMac. There have been a few rumors around the web about a touch screen iMac being announced. I think those rumors are just speculation and there will not be a touch screen computer from Apple for at least two or three years. Once Apple updates the iMacs they usually don’t receive an update for two or three years. Don’t expect any changes to the iMac line up.
iPhone: If you can wait on buying an iPhone, I would definitely wait on it. I believe Apple will release their new iPhone (the 4th Generation) in June or July. Apple has not done much to change the iPhone in the last couple of product cycles. I would expect many changes to the iPhone this June or July. When the first iPhone came out, it changed the mobile phone industry forever. I expect this iPhone to have the same effect.
iPods: Apple usually releases their new line up of iPods in September or October every year. I don’t expect that to change anytime soon. If you are in the market for any kind of iPod right now, I’d say it’s safe to buy one.
Thanks for reading this article. I hope you enjoyed.
