Alex With the New iPad From Apple.

January 27, 2010

Hey Guys this is a new video from Alex, Talking about the new Apple iPad.

One of the first things you’ll notice about the iPad is how thin and light it is. The screen is 9.7 inches, measured diagonally. So overall, it’s slightly smaller than a magazine. And at just 1.5 lbs and 0.5 inches thin, it’s easy to carry and use anywhere. There’s also a slight curve to the back. Which makes it easy to pick up and comfortable to hold.It also has up to 10 Hours of battery life. -From Apple.

The iPad looks like a great device, and very affordable to be an apple product, it has a lot of upsides, but there are a few down sides.

  1. No multitasking. This may not be a big issue to some people, but if they want it to be a business device they have to put that in, the same goes to the iPhone and iPod touch.
  2. No camera, people were expecting an isight on the top front of the device, but no camera at all.

That about raps it all for the recap of the iPad.

Ipod Shuffle 3rd gen. Revie

January 26, 2010

Hello guys it me Caleb. This is my first post on gadget experts.net. I hope you enjoy it so I will get right on to the review.

The ipod shuffle 3rd generation  has changed a lot from the 2nd generation . The ipod shuffle 2nd generation had buttons on it but the new ipod shuffle has none. You control all your content from a remote in the earphones, so this is how it work.

The remote that is built on to the earphones is made out of 3 buttons the top button to increase the volume and the button on the bottom is to decrease the volume. The button in the middle of the remote if to control all the music. ne click on the middle button will start and stop playing the track, two clicks on the button will skip to the next track and three click on the middle button will go back to the previous track. If you hold down the middle button for a few second the voice over will tell you what track is playing and who is the artist of the track, if you keep holding the middle button longer the voice over will let you pick the playlist that you want to play.

Let’s go on to the design. This device is made out of aluminum. It is almost like the unibody technology but it’s not.  On the top of the device there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, next to that there is a led indicator that tells if the ipod is off or on and next to that is a switch that turns the device on and off, also through that switch you can make the music shuffle . On the back side of it there is a stainless steel clip so that you can clip it to your belt.

The ipod shuffle comes in two different version one begging a 2gb version the other one being a 4gb version. I have the 2gb version that costs 59 dollars but the 4gb version cost 89 dollars. Now let’s talk about the voice over, the voice over is in 20 different languishes. I kind of like it but I don’t like the freaky guys voice but I believe that you are able to go and download different voices off of itunes.

Over its a great ipod I would give it a 7 out of 10.The only reason why I am docking it points is because of the earphones problem. You can not use the ipod with out the earphones that come with the ipod. I really dont like this because the apple earphones really hurt my ear so I want the freedom to go out and use what ever earphones I like.SO this is the end of this review,  Go check out my giveaway and stay tuned to my channel for more reviews. Apple January 2010 Predictions

January 16, 2010

Hello everyone. Alex here from Gadget Experts today to share with you my predictions for the alleged January 27th Apple Event. First of all the event is supposed to be held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, California. No one know’s for sure what will happen. I’m basing my predictions on what’s being produced and written on the web. For sources I’ve used macrumors.com and a few youtube videos. Here’s what I think Apple will announce.

Apple Tablet or the “iSlate”
Spec Predictions:
Screen: I think the Apple Tablet will have a seven to ten inch capacitive touch screen
Processor: I predict that Apple will pack in a 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. But, Apple could possibly partner with a smaller company such as Qualcomm (who produces processors for net books and cell phones)
Hard Drive: I predict Apple will have a 160 giga byte Hard Drive in this alleged Apple Tablet.
OS: I predict some kind of clouded version of Snow Leopard or we will see the middle ground between the iPhone OS and Mac OS X.

iLife 10
I predict iLife 10 will have a few updates to iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD. Personally I think iWeb needs an update as well.

iPhone OS 4.0:
I think that Apple will announce iPhone OS 4.0. I think OS 4.0 will be an update for all iPhone owners (excluding the original iPhone). I think this software update will include a re designed home screen (which you can see in my video)

MacBook Pro Updates: I predict the MacBook Pros will receive a processors update. I predict we will see the quad core i5 and i7 processors in the MacBooks and MacBook Pros, which we saw in the iMacs and Mac Pros. I also think the MacBooks and MacBook Pros will be updated to the quad core processors because a few PC laptops already have these processors.

Apple iSlate Specs!?!

January 4, 2010

The Apple iSlate is having rumors non stop right now, and from a recent discovery, PhoneArena stated that they had a “Hands On” with the so called iSlate. Well I looked around and found this website here, and they have the specs of the tablet. Are they all true? Who knows, no one for sure will know until it is released to the media, and public. So here are the specs that are said to be on the iSlate!

  • Precision aluminum unibody
  • 7.1-inch capacitive multi-touch touchscreen with some sort of “intelligent feedback” and an anti-fingerprint coating
  • 2.26Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
  • 2GB DDR3 SDRAM
  • 120GB hard drive
  • Built-in projector
  • Built-in iSight camera
  • 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
  • Mac OS X 10.7 Clouded Leopard

So if this is the iSlate, in specs, this can be a full functional computer in a tablet. With those specs, this can be a huge hit with the Apple fans. Price here is probably some where from 300 USD – 1,000 USD. Its going to be very interesting seeing how this one plays out.
